Financial Consultant, Participant Investor Concierge (Denver, CO & Richfield, OH)

Regular Your Opportunity The Participant Investor Concierge is part of the Retail Acquisition & Enterprise Marketing organization and is primarily responsible for serving participants in retirement plans administered by Schwab Retirement Plan Services.
Financial Consultants in Participant Investor Concierge are tasked with driving engagement, nurturing relationships, and gaining long-term client loyalty in working with Schwab's retirement plan participants.
Through engagement, you will support participant outreach, asset retention, and improve overall client satisfaction as you position yourself to be a key resource in helping participants by finding financial success.
As a Financial Consultant for Participant Investor Concierge, you will advocate on behalf of our participants by listening and discovering what is most important to them, understanding who they are, and then introducing our advice services to help fulfill their financial goals.
You will confidently provide wealth management recommendations, advisory guidance, and will discuss timely and relevant topics to drive meaningful outcomes.
Your typical day would include receiving inbound calls from our retirement plan participants, encouraging retention and consolidation of outside assets to Schwab Investor Services, utilizing a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs, providing client focused solutions, and sharing of best practices with your colleagues.
When speaking with participants you will:

Discover all you can about your clients, see things through their eyes, and then review and recommend appropriate solutions to help them stay on-track with their financial goals.

Build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations.
Have a Defined Process:
Demonstrate your ability to leverage technology and deliver appropriate advice and solutions through a repeatable sales process that focuses on addressing your client's needs.
Use your Team and Ability to Influence:
Demonstrate our team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, your knowledge of the markets, and your ability to inspire action to help your client's progress toward achieving their goals.
Be a Challenger:
Partner with and educate participants.
Share and engage participants in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and the ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situation.

Essential skills include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience preferred A valid and active FINRA Series 7 required A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained within a 90 day condition of employment) Minimum of 2 years of financial experience Polished and persuasive interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Ability to quickly learn new technology and use a variety of data and systems Open to ongoing coaching and development to achieve positive client outcomes and career aspirations Strong time management skills and productivity; ability to successfully balance competing priorities Learning mindset, as you gain an understanding of all the products and services at Schwab In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
